Steer Show Checklist

Provide your contact information.
- Please send your preferred email, phone number and mailing address to Lora Vest (vest.62@osu.edu).

Connect with your team.
- Reach out to your team to introduce yourself and start planning fundraising strategies and preparing for the show.
- Create a team name.
- Make team t-shirts to wear for the steer show. You could also sell your team t-shirts for additional fundraising and encourage your guests to wear them to the show.
- Attend the meet and greet practice session at Cooper Arena on June 23, 2023.

Raise donations for your team
- Use your personalized link for people to donate to your team page: give.osu.edu/deanscharitysteershow
- Request updates to your team page by contacting Lora Vest at (vest.62@osu.edu).
- You will want to solicit or secure donations that will be used to “bid” on your steer during the “sale” in addition to those that go directly through your online fundraising page.
- For the show, you are encouraged to bring items to entice potential “buyers” and increase the “sale” of your steer. I.E. football tickets, signed memorabilia, and experiences.
